It made ₹16 crore on its eleventh day, surpassing its second Saturday collection. The film performed well in different regions, despite competition from other Hindi releases. This marks the reunion of Lokesh and Vijay after their hit film 'Master.' The film also stars Trisha Krishnan and marks Sanjay Dutt's debut in Kollywood.
