Education department changes eligibility criteria for primary teachers

The state education department has made changes in the eligibility criteria for getting a job as a primary school teacher. The changes come following a recent high court order. Sources said that the education department has now decided that all candidates who have completed their BSc with any subject as principal subject will now be eligible for applying for the primary teacher’s post.
